Festival Mixteco

Festival Mixteco its an event that was organized by Unidad Popular Benito Juarez from the year 2000 - 2008 in the city of Arvin, California. The event consisted in gathering all of the dances from the Mixtec community from the state of Oaxaca., Dances such as; Jarabe Mixteco, Rubios, Diablos, el Palomo and many other known dances from the region. 

Unidad Popular on its event aside from having the Festival Mixteco, we also had organizations handing out information to the community, traditional food and Arts craft.  The event was primary for kids and adults.
